About the cocktail

The cocktail Sidecar is one of the popular cocktails and you can find it in the menu list of the most bars and it is a perfect start to a wild night with friends.

Originally the cocktail is made with cognac but you can find variations with bourbon or cherry bourbon for the fruit lovers.

Ingredients

2 oz ( 60ml ) Cognac or bourbon
3⁄4 oz ( 22 ml ) Cointreau
3⁄4 oz ( 22 ml ) Fresh lemon juice

Instructions

Take a lemon and rub it along the outside rim of the glass. Put a small saucer with a sugar on a table. Turn the glass over and dip the outside rim of the glass into the sugar. Mix the ingredients in a cocktail shaker and strain into a cocktail glass.
